Artsakh Youth Hold Torch-lit Procession in Stepanakert

STEPANAKERT, NKR (A.W.)—The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) youth of the Nagorno-Karabagh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) led a torch-lit procession in the NKR capital Stepanakert, on the night on April 23. Crowds filled the city center, yelling chants such as “the Armenian soldier stopped a new genocide,” “we demand,” and “shame on Turkey,” and singing patriotic-revolutionary songs, reported Armenia’s Yerkir news service.

Participants marched with torches from the city’s ARF Nikol Duman center to Stepanakert’s Armenian Genocide monument, where they held a moment of silence for the memory of the victims of the genocide and of the large-scale military aggression by Azerbaijani forces on April 2-5.
